Paris with Year 7
France
2017, June 17th

I have just spent the past 4 days in Paris, France with 45 Year 7 students!
From the Eifel Tower to the Montparnasse Tower Observation Deck.

After a long 12 hour journey we have made it, stopping on the river bank with a view of the Eifel Tower we stop for some lunch.

First item on our list is for a river tour where we go all the way down to the river Seine from the Eifel Tower to Notre-Dame.
Are accomodation is on the site of an univercity campus where all students across the world can come and stay, three teirs in this building of bed rooms, overlooking a center gallery.
Inside the rooms their are balconies overlooking the surrounding area.

Breakfast in our accomodation then out for the day!, back in to the center.
First thing we are doing is going to a little market where we are encouraging the students to purchase their lunch local style.. They need to speak french to get what they want, No English Language Here!
I managed to get myself a baguett and 2 punnets of raspberries #LeadByExample
Next up we are going back to the Eifel Tower, after wondering round the base we have found the entance, Security here has been stepped up due to what has happened over the past couple of weeks with terrorism, so trust it to be me who has to empty their bag and having all of my groups passports and medical information it takes time...
Finally past security, I havent been here since I was little, off up we go step by step to the first plat form!
What amazing views!!

Standing on the Glass Floor you can see all the way down to the ground.. What a long way down!

Next we are off to Château de Versailles to look at the magnificant Château and Gardens where we will have our lunch.

Last thing before back to the accomodation for dinner is to the Montparnasse Tower Observation Deck.

The views from here were amazing, you can see all over Paris and in direct line with the Eifel Tower..
Us staff may have had some bubbley up here, shhh
Now back for our final night in the accomadation, then tomorrow off to Parc Astérix! and then home.
